Today we are proud to launch WomanzWorld.com, an online resource that will provide tools, knowledge and inspiration to help women entrepreneurs launch and grow their own businesses.
The motivation behind WomanzWorld came from our own experiences and challenges as women in business. Back in early 2009, we met at a networking event for entrepreneurs in downtown Vancouver, BC. As we looked around the room and watched business cards being busily exchanged over glasses of merlot, we realized how few female entrepreneurs there were in the room.
This observation simply illuminated that despite an increasing number of women owning and operating their own companies, the business world is still largely dominated by men, both here in North America and globally.
Out of our own desire to be a part of a vibrant and active community of female entrepreneurs, we came up with the concept of WomanzWorld to help encourage and empower fellow female entrepreneurs to reach out and claim their own successes.
